Ang galing, that's so cool. :-) Hindi ko pa narinig yong Biyaya Church. I came across of someone in a restaurant parking lot here in Houston last year. Yong kotse niya katabi ng sasakyan namin. He asked me if I was a pinay-- He told me he's married to one and invited me to their church--pero hindi ko alam kung anong Christian church yon. He gave me his phone # but I hesitated to call--just my gut feeling was uneasy about it, I don't know why. I just did a search and came back with Biyaya Community Church in Southwest Houston which is not very close to us. I am not so familiar yet of places here and sort of nangangapa pa ako and I'm kind of scared driving here...medyo uneasy akong magdrive dito, not sure of my way and Texans way of driving is not so great-- as far as nice people, yes it's true, maraming churches here too, hindi katulad sa San Diego, dito bawat kanto ata my church with different denominations-- mostly Baptist churches I've noticed. Mayroon ding non-denominational-- I'm n

Pureza, so you now hail from Houston, TX? Lotsa nice people in TX, compared to Los Angeles. Funny thing is that I was in Houston (Laredo, TX) visiting my friends, while also attending a Fil-Am Christian conference this past August. I even visited a very small, but very close-knit Filipino congregation while I was there called Biyaya Community Church. Just wondering if it sounds familiar to you? Baka sakali lang na meron po kayong mga kakilala sa Biyaya Church. Masaya ang samahan at pananampalataya nila sa Diyos! Even though I was born and raised here in America, my parents raised me to speak, read and write in fluent Tagalog--and I thank God for my parents and thank Him for this gift!

We relocated in Houston, Texas 2 years ago this month. My son and his wife and their son ended up in Houston. To make a long story short, with a lot of convincing from my son, plus the chance to bond with our grandson, we decided to buy a house and settled here. It was the best decision we had made. My son was born and raised in San Diego, so he is an orig Cali boy. Thanks for subbing and the invite... I will do the same right now... I'm so glad to have met you here. Do you know how to speak Tagalog? I would take it that if not, you can understand it?

Hello Pureza, kamusta? I currently reside in Carson (a suburb of South Bay Los Angeles, near the beach towns). Yes, I'm Filipina but born and raised here in USA. I enjoy meeting our other kababayans on Xanga. So glad you stopped by my blog! You mentioned that you lived in San Diego? Where do you reside now?

Thank you Liz! So glad that you dropped by my site. What part of LA are you residing from? We used to live in San Diego. Are you Filipina? You have a great smile and seems like you have a great personality, too. I'll check your Xanga blog right now... :-)

Thanks for always asking how am I doing? I have been very busy with my new job lately. Trying to get the hang out of it. I am just glad I was able to pass the grueling training that I had for the past three weeks and on Monday, I will be hitting the floor. I'm quite excited. I am temporarily out from my teaching, I'm bored with it lately. When I feel like going back, tsaka na lang. Ikaw? Musta ka na? Lalo kang blooming ngayun ah. ganda ng profile pic mo... take care;-)
